The Vo.PI Public Assistance Association was founded on 24 March 1998 by the current President Vincenzo Savarese and a group of volunteers determined to form an association (Sergius D'Agostino, Easter Albano, Pier Paolo Savarese, Immaculate Caracciuolo, Arthur EspositoJoachim Savarese).

Most of the volunteers are young people between the ages of 17 and 30 with a single objective: to provide all the Municipalities of the Salerno area with an operational emergency response structure operating in four areas.

In recent years it has achieved significant operational results by adapting the fleet of vehicles with ambulances equipped for emergency rescue and mobile emergency units.

For each operating area, the Vo.PI Public Assistance Association has always ensured an efficient and rapid service guaranteed by qualified personnel ready for any emergency.
