Events and activities
The Vo.PI, has participated, with its own operating units, in the following most important events or activities of civil protection:
- Assistance to local authorities during the visit of Holy Father John Paul II for the inauguration of the Metropolitan Seminary located in the municipality of Pontecagnano Faiano;
- Emergency bad weather Cervinara from 12/20/1999 to 12/30/1999;
- Rainbow mission: collection of food and basic necessities for the people of Kosovo (April/May 1999);
- Participation in the Project "Aid to Tourist Traffic" announced by the Campania Region 2000;
- Various assistance to travelers of the FF.SS on the occasion of railway traffic blockages;
- Participation in the program Safe Summer 2003, 2004 and 2005 ;
- Service IB extension – Sighting of Forest Fires and Fire Fighting, in agreement with the Campania Region on the occasion of the Summer Fire Prevention Plan for the years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010;
- Forest Fire Service, in agreement with the Province of Salerno for the years 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010;
- Emergency bad weather Bovalino Marino in May 2001;
- 118 service with ambulances in the area of Pontecagnano Faiano and Montecorvino Pugliano from 2000 to today;
- Participation in the exercise “IRPINIA 21” carried out in November 2001;
- Various medical assistance to the military for defusing of the bomb squad in the context of withdrawals of ordnance of war;
- Operation of Rescue and Assistance made on 10/31/2002 for the seismic event that occurred in Collotorto (CB);
- Participation in the program Safe Summer 2003 and 2004;
- June 26, 2004 railway station Montecorvino Rovella / Bellizzi protest against the reopening of the landfill of Parapoti;
- Pope event April 2005 in Rome in the Vatican City assistance with ambulances;
- Assistance to foreigners at post offices for applications submitted to the State in 2006;
- Weather event service year 2007 Inferior Nucleus;
- Emergency Service 8-14 September 2008 Salerno. – Assistance to the population for the discovery of a war device;
- Service in agreement with the dissolved ASL SA 2 in the year 2009 up to today
- Landslide in the municipality of Perdifumo 28/1/2009;
- Abruzzo earthquake 23 April 2009 to 29 May 2009;
- Assistance for travelers at the Agropoli station on 22 August 2009;
- Population assistance in Atrani di Vietri (Sa).
- The Municipality of Pontecagnano Faiano in 2013 to fix the problem home locally performs numerous brothers and our organization gets involved for L'health care with ambulances;
- In the years between 2012 and 2015 in the San Benedetto grove of Montecorvino Pugliano, on Mount Tubenna of Castiglione de Genovesi during the Easter Monday the association was present with its own volunteers due to the strong influx of people.
- The Department of Social Policies of the Municipality of Pontecagnano during the year requests our service from us for accompanying sick people at health facilities;
- At the soccer field L. Settembrini in Salerno the association is present for health care in the soccer tournament of young players in the month of June 2013 and in the summer of 2014.
- Vo.PI performs health service also in private facilities at HIPPODROME Valentinia and Acquapark Isola Verde at the infirmaries in the summer of 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 2 2017;
- Fundamental it's ours health care provided on May 19, 2013 for the Cyclamen organized by Legambiente;
- The month of June of each year the association is involved in the festivities in honor of San Antonio at the Parish in Pontecagnano and in the area adjacent to the celebrations and in the feast of Sacred Heart in Bellizzi in 2015;
- On 16 June 2013 the ARCI PESCA and in subsequent years in Pontecagnano has organized Fishing competitions for the disabled where the association provides assistance with an ambulance.
- The association July 1, 2013 is engaged in collaboration with the municipality of Pontecagnano Faiano and the police to 24th PINK LAP a nationwide cycling competition with volunteers and vehicles.
- In the month of August every year starting from 2012 in occasion of the review of culture, music theater and dance the association is present in the Arbostella Park and Theater in Salerno;
- November 1st and 2nd between 2012 and 2015, 2016 and 2017 is involved in the assistance of elderly and disabled people visiting the deceased loved ones at the Cemetery of Pontecagnano Faiano and Montecorvino Pugliano;
- L'year 2013 the association is engaged in the service hemodialysis transport with car at i Affiliated Centres until December 2015.
- In 2014 the association is engaged in assisting 100 families with the FOOD BANK for the distribution of drinks and long-life items;
- In 2014 the administration municipality of Montecorvino Pugliano involves the VOPI association in theassistance with ambulance in sponsored activities by the institution and for this purpose it grants the use of its own premises.
- The month of March 2014 in Castiglione de Genovesi and May 2015 in Marina di Camerota and others Montecorvino Pugliano and we participate in cycling and running health care;
- In the March 2015 in the structure Bellizzi's Berlinguer on behalf of the association SHAOLIN we attended for health care for sports competitions;
- On May 15 approx the association is busy in assistance for the pass of the 97th Giro d'Italia;
- On the occasion of competitions by Landi Skate Salerno by skating on May 24, 2015 in Salerno in Piazza della Concordia we carried out a health care service;
- In the summer of 2014 year the association has carried out in agreement with the ASL SALERNO handled the emergency health service with ambulance in Centola – Palinuro and over the years 2013 and 2015, 2016 and 2017 in Pontecagnano Faiano;
- In all the years to date, the association has carried out hundreds of transports of sick and injured people to affiliated centres, hospitals, health facilities and vice versa;
- During the years with ENAC, 118 and Amalfi Coast Airport we conducted emergency drills in aircraft disaster scenarios;
- Ambulance assistance for football matches in 2014 a U.S. Faiano 1965, and in the municipality of Montecorvino Pugliano for sports associations in home competitions;
- In the months of November and December 2015, 2016 and 2017 in Olevano sul Tusciano the association guaranteed health care in Motocross competitions.
- Healthcare also in the Christmas events of the municipalities of Bellizzi and Montecorvino Pugliano including the Christmas markets and the New Year's Concert;
- In 2016 and 2017 the association with Anpas has early assistance to the populations affected by the Earthquake in Central Italy of 2016 and 2017 was present with 4 volunteers.
